Subject Verb Agreement
1. Singular Subjects take singular verbs.
SINGULAR VERBS end in -s or -es. 2. Plural Subjects take plural verbs. PLURAL VERBS do NOT end in -s or -es. 3. Compound subjects joined with AND use a plural verb. 4. Compound subjects joined by OR use the last noun in the subject to determine if it is singular or plural |
