eMINTS National Center: transforming education for all learners through high-quality teaching powered by technology.
Our mission is to support educators at all levels with the professional development experiences they need to prepare all learners with the 21st century skills they need to become intrepid explorers, active team members, independent
thinkers, problem solvers, effective communicators and creators of knowledge. We change the face of education by providing a model (complete with professional development) that combines best teaching practices with technology resulting in
improved outcomes for all learners.
I remember when our Superintendent mentioned that we were going to receive eMINTS training. I had no idea what it was or what to expect. I knew we were getting more technology, but I would have never known how it would change me as an educator.
eMINTS is more than just getting your students more computers. It is a comprehensive plan to improve instruction and overall success in your classroom. The training has been intense but is by far the best training I have receieved in my 15+ years of teaching. The support we recieve is fantastic and the impact that it has made on my instruction has been wonderful.
eMINTS has changed the framework of how I approach learning and what I expect from my students.
