1. In chapter two we read that Little Man and Cassie both refused their school book. Little Man even stomped all over his and caused the binding to be torn. When Mrs. Cocker told Mama about what happened she told her that the children "must learn how things are sometime." Identify three ways in which the Logans show that they will not be bound by "the way things are."
2. Evaluate the actions of the Logan children when they stopped the bus. Were their actions justified? Why or why not?
